What type of mouthpiece does the Emeo require?
The Emeo can be played with an alto saxophone mouthpiece and also without. Each Emeo comes with an antibacterial flexible mouthpiece designed specially for the Emeo.
Does blowing harder through the Emeo affect volume?
Yes, if the MIDI sound you are using support this functionality.
Every Emeo comes with a Respiro license included, which features a collection of high quality sounds which have been specially selected.
How many octaves can the Emeo play?
The range of the Emeo is exactly like a conventional saxophone.
What sounds can the Emeo make?
As a MIDI wind controller, the Emeo can use any MIDI sound.
The Emeo best suits using MIDI sounds created for wind controllers like those made by Respiro, Audio Modelling etc...
Each Emeo comes with a Respiro license included, which features a collection of high quality sounds which have been selected especially for the Emeo.
What key is the Emeo in?
The Emeo can be switched between C, E♭ and B♭.
You can also set the Emeo to play in any key using DAW programs.
How long does the battery last?
If you are playing by Bluetooth, the battery will last from approximately 6 hours, when fully charged.

Why does the Emeo not have pitch bend or bite control?
First of all, the Emeo is a practice horn and we have made an effort to keep it pure and simple, and so we have not added unnecessary features which distract from the playing experience.
Can I return my Emeo if I am not satisfied with it?
If you choose to return your Emeo within 14 days of receiving it, and it is unused and undamaged, we will give you a full refund, minus the cost of shipping it back to us and any taxes which are due. Please note that if your Respiro license has been used, we will not be able to refund you for this part of the cost of the Emeo.
